Neelachal Gramya Bank is a young amalgamated banking structure having a wide network of branches in 5 prosperous districts of the state namely, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda, Dhenkanal and Anugul. In their individual status as Puri Gramya Bank and Dhenaknal Gramya Bank prior to merger, both banks had a glorious past chiefly because of the inroad made in the respective areas of operation. Both banks had created unique emotional bonding with the customers by tailor-designing banking products suit to all types of requirements. Consequent to merger in August 2007, the amalgamated Bank suitably named as Neelachal Gramya Bank has emerged as a  strong Regional Rural Bank in the country. It has branch strength of more than 170 and staff strength of more than 800 and growth rate has been phenomenal in the year 2007-08 and 2008-09.The total business of the Bank as on 31.3.2009 stood at Rs 2603 crores which is a growth of 23% over the last year.
With the growth of business, the financial strength of the Bank has also improved considerably and the future looks good for growth and stability.
The Bank takes pride about the loyalty of its customers without whose support and patronage, it would not have been possible to sustain such growth or gather such financial strength.
